A little bit matchmaking, a smidge science fair, a whole lotta wondrously weird concoctions from friends and former foes in NYC food & bev

 

Sounds swell, but what’s it all about?

 

The goal here really is just to celebrate collaboration between businesses. But to make things more interesting, we’re asking all participants to show up to this event with a maximum of five ingredients that they use with regularity in food or beverage service at their business. So long as it’s edible, all ingredients are fair game. Then, once the clock strikes that magic hour, each participant will be introduced to their partner, and given thirty minutes to utilize the available ingredients to produce something weird and wonderful.

I really won’t have any idea who my partner’s gonna be?

 

Ok, we’ll give you a hint - three days before the event takes place, you’ll receive a haiku that alludes to your partner. That should adequately build the tension.
